Events such as those that occurred over the past two days in Pittsburgh are invaluable to those of us employed in the military arts. All of the variables that were in play there are impossible to effectively simulate in a controlled training environment.
Observing police tactics at G20 Summit in Pittsburgh
Several of my colleagues and I were invited to observe the crowd control operations and witness the effective deployment of tear gas, military vehicles and even sonic weapons against civilian, counter-globalization forces.
The operation was mostly carried out by military (what are known stateside as National Guard) forces being aided by local police forces. My fellow United Nations colleagues and I were not the only observers on hand as we were able to compare notes with representatives of several US police departments.
One of the most exciting things about the operations was the impossible-to-train-effectively-for fog of war which always accompanies societal disruptions such as this one. We were able to glean much valuable insight in this area that will prove beneficial when and if we are ever called to protect society from local populaces in the future.
All in all it was a real eye opener and a great experience for everyone involved.

Any organization made up of individuals that break the sacred oath they have taken to protect the US Constitution, while protecting international bankers who have stolen our money, use our tax money to procure more advanced ways of suppressing us, forfeits its right to be considered a legitimate organization.
